Nowadays
most Windows users are faced with many errors after updating their Windows OS
from older version to Windows 10. Most Outlook users complain that after
upgrading to Windows 10, they cannot start MS Outlook and access their PST.
They faced this error message :
“Cannot start
Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be
opened. File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to
access the file C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Outlook Files\filename.pst.”
The main reason for "PST File Access is Denied After Upgrading to Windows 10" error is the prompt you receive for logging into Windows using
a Microsoft account like Live Mail, Outlook.com or MSN as an alternative to
your local account. In this condition, the permission changes for the PST file are
not applied properly. Sometimes permission adjustments are skipped.
Remember: Sometimes, PST file corruption is the main reason for OUtlok errors including PST file access denied. Try Outlook Recovery software, a complete solution to all PST file corruption.
