"I installed office 2010 on the new computer and I am trying to open the .pst file from the hard drive of my previous computer and imported it to my new system . I transferred the .pst file to the new computer. I then opened Outlook, went to ( File/Open/Open Outlook data File/Desktop/Outlook.pst ) but, i'm obtaining a panel pop open that says "The file C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Outlook.pst isn't an Outlook file (.pst)”Well, i do know that it's a .pst file. it's 902 MB of data in it too! I even tried the scanpst utility, but it did not recognize it as being a .pst file either.
